If ice cream is your dessert of choice more often than not, then you are our kind of people… and we’ve got a restaurant just for you. It’s tucked away in Princeton, West Virginia, and it serves up some of the best frozen custard in the whole state.
Berkshire's Old Fashioned Frozen Custard (located at 509 Rogers Street in Princeton, West Virginia) is a community staple. Why? Well, Berkshire's Old Fashioned Custard has a long tradition of serving great meals, drinks, and desserts.
Of course, like the restaurant's name implies, as tasty as the entire menu is, it's the desserts that keep people coming back over and over for more Berkshire's. The food is good, but the frozen custard is beyond good. It's amazing. Scrumptious. Rich. Creamy. Decadent. Delicious.
The custard is available in standard chocolate, vanilla, and twist flavors, plus a specialty flavor that varies week-by-week. Examples of weekly special flavors include maple walnut, peanut butter, cookies and cream, red raspberry, lemon, coffee, and peach.
You can get the custard in a cup or a homemade waffle cone (YUM!) or choose to try it in milkshake, sundae, or banana split form. It's all good, but we're especially partial to waffle cones.
Use the drive through if you're on the run. Alternatively, choose to place your order at the front window or inside counter and take advantage of the outdoor patio seating to enjoy your food.
