If you ask 100 Washingtonians for their favorite restaurant, you’ll probably get 100 different answers. Our tastes vary here in the Evergreen State, but there’s no doubt that we all love delicious food. And we have a long list of outstanding restaurants ready to serve us our favorite things.
However, we strongly suspect most, if not all Washingtonians would agree that the food at Wooden City is second to none. And since there are now two locations, one on each side of the state, it’s accessible to more of us, which is a good thing indeed.
Wooden City was founded by a trio of owners in 2018 in Tacoma.
In addition to serving some seriously scrumptious cuisine, Wooden City has teamed up with some fantastic local organizations that help those in need and marginalized communities.

In August of 2020, Wooden City's second location opened in Spokane.
From small plates like caesar salads and French onion soup to the irresistible Fried Chicken Sandwich and the hearty burgers, there's something here for everyone.
Wooden City's pizzas are out of this world, and they're perfect for takeout for those who aren't comfortable with indoor dining yet.
