Vashon Island is a mere 20-minute ferry ride from West Seattle, but you'll feel like you're enjoying your own private rural beachy world.
Llamas are used for more than their wool. They make excellent guard animals for herds of sheep, goats, alpacas, or cattle, and they're great companion animals.

They're also used as pack animals for hikers interested in backcountry adventures.
There are at least half a dozen llamas on the farm at any given time, and each one has a bio on the website.

The cost of the classic farm visits has been lowered to $15 as they are aware of the financial impact the pandemic had on most families. Farm visits last about an hour, and they're a lot of fun.
Adults can enjoy Llama Happy Hour, a two-hour BYOB activity where you can try your hand at weaving on one of the table looms.

Weaving With Friends is a three-hour weaving activity, complete with a break so you can spend some time with the llamas.
