Olympia Just Might Be Washington's Most Underrated Christmas Town
The holiday season is officially upon us, meaning it’s time to start enjoying our charming little Christmas towns. So pack your bags, warm up the car, and head to… Olympia. That’s right, our state capital actually has a ton of holiday events on the calendar this year, and they’re all fantastic. If it’s been awhile since you’ve experienced Olympia, this is a wonderful time to go.

However, we must admit that the most wonderful time of the year seems to be the best time to visit.

They'll be hosting brunch for the next two Saturdays, December 14 and December 21.

$32 per person covers your yummy brunch buffet, something hot to drink, and games and crafts your little ones will love. They'll also get a stocking stuffed with goodies and a special wrapped present from Santa himself.

This is a perfect holiday tradition to start with your family. Adults get gifts as well, either handmade ornaments or small stockings. Call 360-753-7000 to reserve.

Then come back to Olympia Oyster House for dinner so you can see it all lit up in the dark.

And if you go, make sure to save your bracelet -- it's good for 25% off at Olympia Oyster House, including your brunch with Santa.

At Schilter Family Farm (pictured here), you can even go shopping for holiday decor, go on hay rides (on weekends) and treat yourself to some fresh cider donuts (also on weekends).

However, there's always a great selection of pre-cut trees if you'd rather go that route.

An Olympia holiday favorite for 35 years, the production will be shown until December 22. You'll fall in love with the beautiful sets and dazzling costumes.

Stop by Dillinger’s Cocktails, Kitchen & Rum Room this season and witness the Miracle Pop-up, complete with kitschy holiday décor, seasonal cocktails, and good old-fashioned holiday cheer. You might also want to catch some comedy at Washington Center for the Performing Arts, which has a festive line-up of shows this month including 'O Christmas Tea: A British Comedy.'
Believe it or not, this isn’t even a complete list of all the holiday fun Olympia has in store before the new year. See for yourself!
