And while you won’t find many of them remaining in Washington, if you’re feeling nostalgic, all you have to do is drive to Issaquah. That’s where you’ll find XXX Rootbeer Drive-In, and this old-school eatery is definitely worth visiting.

This hidden gem has been around since 1930. It became a chain, but other than one remaining XXX in Indiana, this is the only one left. Issaquah's is the only one that still sports the traditional barrel.
