If you live in Western Washington, there’s a distinct possibility you’ve driven by our state’s tiniest town without even realizing it. But don’t worry, you’re not missing much (unless you love Costco, but we’ll get to that later). Somewhere just off State Route 522 near Woodinville is the 0.6-mile community of Grace, which is home to a dozen of the happiest people you’ll ever meet.
Grace is located just outside of Woodinville, on the King County and Snohomish County line.
Their ever-changing signs are the talk of the town (and the surrounding towns). They keep the messages on the signs lighthearted and fun, but everyone is fair game for teasing.

Terry Jarvis is the lifelong mayor here, a position he's held since 1993.
But it's all in good fun, and everyone is actually quite neighborly.
If you’re considering relocating to the tiny town of Grace, we have some bad news — they cap the population at 12. No one can move in unless someone leaves, which helps them avoid changing the number on the welcome sign. However, you can follow their official Facebook page here.
