Located in Spokane’s South Hill neighborhood, The Park Inn has been around since 1932. Not only is it an important part of local history (with some fascinating stories attached to it), it’s still a great place to stop for a cold beer and a hot meal. And should you make your way to this casual tavern, treat yourself to the Broasted Chicken Dinner. Trust us.
Ask anyone who has lived in Spokane for a while about The Park Inn and you'll probably hear a story or two about it.
From the former owner who died in a mysterious plane crash to its former incarnation as a cafe and ice cream parlor, there's a lot to be told... so much so that a local videographer even made a documentary about it.
When The Park Inn first opened, it was known as Freeman’s Park Inn Restaurant and served burgers, fries, and shakes.
Although it changed ownership and changed its name several times, it has never closed down. It's one of the longest continuously operating eateries in Eastern Washington.
