You can always take a scenic drive to check out the fantastic fall foliage Washington is blessed with each year. But you might find that you prefer to catch a train instead and just go along for the ride. And there’s no better place to do that than the Snoqualmie Valley.

The Northwest Railway Museum has been around since 1957, and it's the largest and most comprehensive railroad museum in Washington.

The exhibits sit inside the Snoqualmie Depot in the former passenger waiting areas and freight room.
But, while the historic railway is no longer operational, you can still take a train ride here for fun.

The museum offers plenty of themed rides throughout the year, including the annual autumn steam train rides.
In early October and early November, you can take a picturesque steam train excursion to check out the changing leaves.
