As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Here in Washington, you can sleep inside a treehouse, a Hobbit House, and even a castle… but nothing quite compares to this amazing cave Airbnb we’ve discovered. These hosts spent over two years digging, drilling, blasting, and “tinkering” to create this cozy space, and it was well worth the effort. This is one of the most creative places you’ll ever rest your head.
The cave, or C+A+V+E as it is listed on Airbnb, is located just outside the Bavarian town of Leavenworth.
The tub is big enough for 10 guests to soak comfortably. And since it's often deeper than people expect, Steve added a pole to help them steady themselves.

The living area is quite large, including plenty of seating and room.
You won't even have to venture out to the surface to find food — although downtown Leavenworth is only four miles away in case you experience cabin (cave?) fever.
There are two full bedrooms here, but thanks to the extra beds, up to eight people can sleep here comfortably.
As you can see, you will not be roughing it when you stay here. In fact, the full bathroom even has a walk-in shower with heated floors and thousands of individually placed river rocks.

If you stay, make sure to venture outside and explore the property.
