These Beautiful Washington Towns Offer Something For Everyone
Are you a night owl? A morning person? A foodie? A nature lover? Obsessed with coffee or a big fan of wine? All of the above, and then some? While every last one of our cities and towns has something to offer someone, we’ve got quite a few places with a little bit of something for everyone. These are 9 of them.

Talk about a highly underrated city. Vancouver sits right on the beautiful Columbia River, and waterfront walks are just one of the many reasons to adore it. From craft beer to fine dining to casual eats, shopping, entertainment, and the historic Fort Vancouver, there are all kinds of gems to discover here.

You already know Walla Walla is a paradise for wine lovers, but there's much more to it than that. There's an abundance of nature in the area to enjoy, with plenty of sunny days to do so. The boutiques, galleries, and museums make downtown strolls a blast, and there's tasty food (both fine dining and casual) on every corner.

Ellensburg is so much more than a college town (although CWU is a beautiful school). The John Wayne Pioneer Trail is great for cyclists, and there's plenty of other natural wonders in the area. History buffs will love strolling downtown and seeing historic buildings that date back to 1889, which now house museums, shops, bars, and restaurants.

There's a lot going on in this little city. Visitors have plenty of tasty restaurants to choose from, like Alchemy Bistro and Fountain Cafe. A Twisted History tour will teach you all about the city's ghosts and mysterious disappearances, and a relaxing hour at Soak on the Sound will soothe your sore muscles. Get a double dose of history and nature by exploring Fort Worden, and enjoy a waterfront stroll anytime.

If you've never explored Bellingham, you're really missing out. The Whatcom Museum is one of several great places to learn about local history, and Whatcom Falls Park will immerse you in nature. Add in its waterfront location and the fact that it's a college town (and therefore has great restaurants and bars) and it's easy to see why Bellingham is such a beloved place.

Prepare to fall in love with this picturesque Olympic Peninsula city, whether it's lavender season or not. Its waterfront beauty is unparalleled, and the local food scene is unreal, especially since several restaurants grow their own. While you won't find much of a nightlife here, the abundance of nature trails in the area are well worth waking up early to see.

Our capital city has so much character. Touring the Capitol building is always a fun and informative (and free!) experience, and the waterfront parks are both beautiful and relaxing. Surrounded by nature and filled with tasty restaurant, shops, and museums, it's easy to see why so many people love it here.

Talk about an underrated gem. Although it's only a few miles from Seattle, Kirkland has its own culture, attractions, nightlife, and natural beauty. The fact that it's right next to Western Washington's wine country (Woodinville) doesn't hurt either.

Aside from the fact that Lake Chelan is one of our top vacation spots, the town itself has a lot to offer. From wine walks and seasonal events to shopping and dining, there's truly something for everyone here.
These towns are perfect for weekend getaways that include both relaxing and sightseeing. But if you want to truly get away from it all, move to one of these places.
