Located on the outskirts of town in a converted home, it would be easy to miss this gem completely. Curious visitors to Leavenworth will have their inquisitiveness pay off in spades!
Inside, the ambiance is light, modern, and unpretentious. Here, it's all about the food and drinks. The owners designed Mana so the atmosphere doesn't distract from the culinary experience. That said, it's nonetheless gorgeous.
After deciding they wanted a change from Seattle, owners Amber and Colin combined their 45 years of restaurant experience and founded Mana. Head chef Lucas Szmania and restaurant manager Stephan Semanksy were the perfect duo to bring their vision to life. Lucas earned his stripes at Michelin Star-winning Hameau Albert Primer in Chamonix, France. His food combines his fine-dining acumen with his love for the Cascades.
Not only is the food good, it's award-winning! Mana serves a fixed menu and you'll make reservations in advance for a flat fee per diner. With accolades including TripAdvisor's Traveler's Choice Award, it's worth paying up front.
The experience lasts two and a half hours and includes five courses paired with delicious hand-crafted drinks. Visitors can choose between alcoholic and non-alcoholic accompaniments to their meals. Those who choose to refrain from alcohol won't feel left out. The non-alcoholic options are equally impressive.
The menu is hyper-seasonal and ever-changing. Speaking as a picky eater myself, you shouldn't feel intimidated by the preset menu! The passionate kitchen team makes everything with such care and skill, you'll find it easy to trust their vision.
A benefit of the unique setting is the gorgeous garden dining area! While Mana serves elevated cuisine, the vibe both inside and out in the yard feels relaxed and welcoming. Other diners are equally glad to be there and excited to chat about their favorite dishes throughout the experience.
