Nestled among antique shops, wineries, and bookstores, in the small town of Walla Walla, Washington, you’ll find a confectionary that would tempt and delight Willie Wonka himself! Since 1934, Bright’s Candies on Main Street has been creating distinctive chocolates, popcorn, and candies, but once you try their signature caramel apples, you’ll be a customer for life.
Located just a block from where the store originally opened in 1934, Bright’s Candies is a favorite of both Walla Walla locals and visitors.
The current location shines bright in a renovated 1890s-era building with original hardwood floors and transom windows. Step inside and inhale the delicious scent of caramel corn and other confections made from recipes that have been handed down through the years. Kids of all ages can watch candy makers at work through the large viewing windows.
Walla Walla is known for its sweet onions, but it’s the Caramel Apples that bring people in the door at Bright’s Candies.
Bright’s Jonagold Caramel Apples are made from locally sourced fruit. They are hand-dipped in their famous butter caramel and are available with or without peanuts.
