As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Last year, The Davenport Grand Hotel received statewide attention by converting its Grand Terrace Bar’s outdoor deck into an igloo village. Since that time, the world as we know it has changed substantially – and due to the current dining restrictions, other local restaurants and bars have followed suit. Now, igloo dining and drinking is popular at several Washington restaurants and wineries, and it’s an experience that is cozy, intimate, and refined.
Luckily, the Davenport Grand was able to bring the igloos back this winter. This year’s set up is even more gorgeous, and the team is taking plenty of precautions to ensure a safe, stylish sipping experience.
The Davenport Grand Hotel is one of the newer hotels in the Davenport's Autograph Collection.
The $250 Grand Igloo Package includes House-smoked garlic hummus, pita, charcuterie, Castelvetrano olives, and Marcona almonds. Spend an extra $50 and you can enjoy King salmon belly cream, pickled onion, Yellowfin Ahi Tuna Poke, prawn cocktails, and more.
You're allowed to have up to five guests in your igloo, so invite some friends along that you've been missing for a special celebration.
