Under ordinary circumstances, the Seattle Aquarium would be a big spring break destination for Washington families. Since 1977, it has been a source of knowledge, entertainment, and fun events for millions of locals and tourists. And while it isn’t possible to visit the Aquarium right now, the team there is doing something pretty amazing — live streaming their adorable otters.
The Seattle Aquarium is located right on the waterfront, and it's typically a pretty lively place.
The aquarium operates as a nonprofit, and they're all about conservation and education.
The wonderful sea life is currently being cared for by a dedicated team who is taking appropriate measures to stay safe, but sometimes they can't allow the public to come visit them.
The Seattle Aquarium is the ninth largest aquarium in the U.S. by attendance and among the top five paid visitor attractions in the Puget Sound region. So it's safe to say some of these critters are missing us.
Watch them enjoy food, play together, and play with their toys. It certainly beats the boredom.
Ready to see these sweet sea otters in action? The link to the live webcams is here. Remember, they can only be seen between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Pacific Time. And when the fates allow, the Seattle Aquarium would love your support with an in-person visit.
