With a year as strange as this one, mentioning taking a cruise on a pirate ship probably doesn’t seem the least bit odd. But a company called Emerald City Pirates offer just that, taking Washingtonians on a pirate cruise through the Lake Washington Ship Canal to Lake Union. And instead of taking the year off due to current conditions, the team has found a way to keep everyone as safe as possible by offering some fantastic private charters.

For years, they've been taking locals and tourists alike on the cruise of a lifetime.
The interactive pirate cruises typically run from April - October, taking both young pirates and adult pirates around the lake.

Daytime cruises are family-friendly, while night cruises are for the 21 and over crowd.
The pirate ship is called Queen Anne’s Revenge, a 50-foot structure that was custom built for the company in 2017.

She is inspected regularly, and all of her operators are Coast Guard licensed captains.
