Have you ever slept in a treehouse? Growing up, every child wanted their very own house in the trees but very few got to see that dream come to fruition. It’s not too late to make that childhood dream a reality. Nestled high in the treetops of Auburn, Washington, you’ll find one of the most unique lodging experiences in the state. Africa in Auburn Writer’s Cottage is a safari-themed treehouse bungalow like no other that will transport you to the Kenyan plains of Africa and refresh your soul with peaceful tranquility.
Africa in Auburn Writer's Cottage was built by Pete Nelson of the television series, "Treehouse Masters".
The cottage comes equipped with a quaint kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. An assortment of snacks and beverages is provided by the hosts. A small washroom is in the cottage, and guests can use the larger bathroom with stone shower in another building on the property.
Two beautifully decorated gazebo garden rooms are available for guests to use.
