Poulsbo is a little fishing town on Liberty Bay in North Kitsap County.

Its nickname, Little Norway, originated from the many Norwegian Americans who settled there in the late 1800s.
Poulsbo still has quite a few Norwegian immigrants and their descendants, and there are touches of Norway reflected all over town.

There's even a Viking festival every July, which draws people from all over the state. If you're looking for fun things to do in Washington, you should definitely check out this event.
When you visit, check out the Poulsbo Maritime Museum, which is open daily from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Downtown Poulsbo has an abundance of shops, boutiques, and art galleries locals and visitors alike tend to love.
