It can’t be easy for a restaurant that’s only open for lunch (and closed on weekends) to stay open. However, Edmonds’ new Potlatch Bistro has been doing it for months. Between its beachfront location, tasty food, and fancy tea service, this place is truly one-of-a-kind.

Potlatch Bistro opened in March at the Edmonds Waterfront Center, which is a multigenerational community center and event venue built on the site of the former Edmonds Senior Center.

As of now, the eatery is open Monday - Friday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. for lunch service.
The restaurant is owned by restaurateur Shubert Ho, who already runs five restaurants in Edmonds, plus the new Shore Pine Coffee & Gelato.

And while you're more than welcome to dine indoors and enjoy the beautiful views, you'll probably opt to enjoy your meal on the beachfront that's just 10 feet from the eatery's entrance.
The takeout menu here has a beach shack vibe, offering fish & chips and tasty burgers.

You'll enjoy a three-tiered tray of finger food that pairs perfectly with cups of tea, all in a relaxing setting by the water.
This place is worth checking out for the lunch alone, but here's another reason to support it: They help feed hungry seniors.
