As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
There’s no denying that we are currently living through some strange times (we promise not to call them “unprecedented”). But there’s also no denying that we are living through them in the most beautiful state in the country, a state that we can still explore, albeit creatively. We’re entering the winter of the Year of the Staycation. And you can enjoy an absolutely magical experience at Cedarbrook Lodge, right down to some cozy (and delicious) outdoor dining.
Cedarbrook Lodge is located in SeaTac, but you'd never know it.
Sustainability is important here. In the spring and summer, you'll find vegetables and herbs growing in the garden used to make your dinner, and buzzing beehives full of fresh honey.

This property was originally used as a training facility in the early 2000s. And typically, the many conference rooms and banquet rooms that still exist would be full of happy people at holiday parties, winter weddings, and business meetings.
Capacity is limited and certain precautions must be taken, but if you've missed out on some massages this year, this is a fantastic time to treat yourself.
Indoor dining is currently restricted in Washington. And even when it isn't, many people simply prefer outdoor dining right now. So the team at Copperleaf Restaurant created a beautiful, safe place to enjoy a meal.
At Camp Copperleaf, the tables are placed far apart, the heat lamps are abundant, the lighting is perfect, and the fireplace is cozy.
