If you're ever driving down Locust Street in the (very) remote town of Waterville, stop at Knemeyers Grill. The building was constructed in 1914 and was once called Knemeyers Tavern, Knemeyers Saloon and Knemeyers Eatery & Spirits.

The entrance to this secluded state park is right on Highway 101, but then you'll head up to a remote camping park on the banks of the Bogachiel River.

For 20 years, this family owned store has been delivering local produce, jam and other goods to people in the Tri Cities. They now have a second location in Richland, but their original location is more secluded. Get there by the end of October to enjoy the Harvest Festival.
12. Fleur de Provence Lavender Farm, Green Bluff, Mead
While the lavender farms in Sequim are stunning, Fleur de Provence is an Eastside gem. Nestled at the base of Green Bluff just north of Spokane, the farm overlooks the rolling wheat hills of the prairie. They're open on Friday and Saturdays from 10-2, Sundays from 12-4, and by appointment.
