Always held the second weekend of August, the Omak Stampede draws a full house year after year with visitors from all over who come for a weekend of high-energy Western entertainment.
One of the Northwest's largest and most respected rodeos, the Omak Stampede honors Native American Culture with an Indian Encampment and a traditional teepee village. This long-standing tradition is sponsored by the Colville Confederated Tribes.
An authentic Native American Pow Wow features native entertainment in the form of dancing, drumming, and singing, as well as traditional games and competitions.
Of course, you can't miss the excitement and exhilaration of the many riding events showcasing the skills and horsemanship of the rodeo cowboys and cowgirls.
