Mt. Rainier is Washington’s most iconic natural wonder. And while Mt. Rainier National Park is amazing, it can also be intimidating, especially if you don’t consider yourself an outdoor enthusiast. After all, the park spans over 236,000 acres, and some of it is covered in snow for the majority of the year. Deciding how to explore it isn’t easy.
Fortunately, a highly rated tour company, Evergreen Escapes, offers a full-day tour of Mt. Rainier National Park. And whether you’re entertaining visitors from out of state or you’d just like to experience all the enchantment for yourself, this adventure is a must-do.
Mt. Rainier dominates Western Washington landscapes, standing tall at 14,411 feet. That makes it our tallest mountain, by far.
They offer pickup from any downtown Seattle hotel, the SeaTac area, or Tacoma by request. The tours are meant for groups of 10 or fewer, so keep that in mind. They'll even greet you with pastries, coffee, and tea.

The nearly two-hour drive to the park is full of stunning scenery—and when you park, you'll be ready to explore.
This is not a driving tour. This is the only day tour company permitted to explore more than a mile from the park road. This means you can take nature walks, waterfall hikes, check out the wildflowers, and stroll through the old-growth forests near Longmire.
