And if you hike the Marymere Falls Trail, the visual delights never end.

Marymere Falls is located on the Northern Coast of the Olympic Peninsula, near Lake Crescent.

The entire trail is under two miles in length, but it covers a lot of beautiful ground and showcases the peninsula's rich diversity.
You'll start your adventure from the Storm King Ranger Station on a paved path and continue through an old-growth forest for about half a mile.

You'll eventually come to a junction, and you'll want to veer left.
From glimpses of Lake Crescent to the towering trees and tranquil river views, this trail showcases the rugged natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Marymere Falls was named in honor of Mary Alice Barnes, sister of Charles Barnes, a member of the Press Expedition and early homesteader.
