Black Lake is the perfect place for easy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or just watching the lake and shoreline birds. This beautiful small lake is under-used, mellow, quiet, and stocked with trout.

Black Lake is a small lake located along Highway 101 on the Long Beach Peninsula.

The park amenities are operated by the City of Ilwaco and include a boat dock, covered area with picnic tables, and restroom facilities.
As the lake is right next to the road, it's easy access. Drive around the back of the lake to get to the boat launch, where you can start your kayaking or canoeing adventure.

The lake is full of planted rainbow trout. You can also fish for largemouth bass and yellow perch.
The dock provides a good spot for casting and is often used for fishing. You can also simply walk down the dock to receive a closer look at the water!
