A Visit To This Washington Winery Will Transport You Straight To Europe
There’s no doubt about it — Washington is home to some seriously stunning wineries. And if you’re ever lucky enough to enjoy a tasting or a tour at Hedges Family Estate, you’ll see exactly what we mean. Taking a stroll on this picturesque property feels exactly like wandering through an old European vineyard.

The property is owned and operated by Tom and Ann-Marie Hedges and family, Ann-Marie is originally from Champagne, France, which explains the amazing French influences here.

And the rest is history.

The vino here, however, has been known to convert even non-wine drinkers.

No artificial pesticides are used, and the biodynamic calendar regulates the timing of some farming practices. Planting, pruning, and harvesting are all done by hand here.

From April - November, tasting room hours are Wednesday - Sunday from 11 - 5. Winter hours are Tuesday - Saturday from 11 - 5. And if those times don't work, you're welcome to call and schedule a tasting. The family loves visitors!

In addition to great discounts and special tastings, you'll receive invitations to some amazing private events.

Stop by sometime and see for yourself. And bring a picnic, because you'll want to stay awhile.
As Washington’s wine industry continues to thrive, it’s fun to explore our beautiful wineries… especially when they have onsite restaurants, like these do.
