Attention, Harry Potter fans: We’ve got some wonderful news. There’s a four day convention coming to Washington that you won’t want to miss. The Weekend of Wizardry is heading to Tacoma in December, and it’s as amazing as it sounds.

While there have been other Harry Potter Festivals and conventions, the Weekend of Wizardry is actually the first of its kind.

The event organizers are (obviously) huge Harry Potter fans, and they believe the fan base is wonderful. This is an event created by fans, for fans.
The 4-day event will consist of classes, group activities, celebrity panels, photo ops, a Wizard's Feast, a Holiday Ball, and a Magical Tea Party.

You'll have plenty of time to get to know your fellow fans and shop in the Vendor's Alley & Artist Row.
The event is family-friendly, and there will be a special children's track of programming available for those 10 and under who want to come with their parents.

There will also be plenty of activities for the 21 and over crowd, such as the Wizard's Pub Crawl.

The convention will be held at the beautiful Hotel Murano at 1320 Broadway Plaza in Tacoma... and yes, discounted rooms will be available for attendees.

The dates will be December 6-9. Ticket prices vary depending on the dates and events you'd like to attend. You can go to every single class, workshop, party, and panel for all four days for $300, but they also have plenty of more affordable options.
Feel free to dress however you please.
