When you think of German food in Washington, you might think of Leavenworth. But while our Bavarian village has plenty of spots to get a tasty bratwurst, there also happens to be an unassuming diner in Lacey that serves German fare to die for.
The diner is owned by Mirjam Spring, who is also the chef.
She first opened a restaurant in South Florida, but when she moved to Lacey to be closer to her sister, she opened German Diner here.

The schnitzel is all made fresh when it's ordered, and you can really taste the difference.
