Dine Outdoors On The Waterfront All Year Long At La Conner Seafood & Prime Rib House In Washington
This may be an extremely tough time for the restaurant industry, but we can’t help but be inspired by the resiliency and creativity of our favorite local eateries. And since it’s still important to show them our support by eating their delicious food, we’d like to give a shout-out to a beloved small-town restaurant that sits right on the Swinomish Channel. La Conner Seafood & Prime Rib House has found a way to make outdoor dining a winter option, and we couldn’t be happier.

The restaurant is located in a historic building where smuggling, gambling, and all kinds of other antics once took place.

You'll be protected from the elements by open-air tents, heat lamps, and cozy blankets.

But if there's one positive thing that has come from these strange times, it is certainly this.

The atmosphere pays homage to the building’s earliest days, when fishermen, loggers, farmers, and locals gathered to enjoy a hearty meal and a cold beverage (or three).

We're glad they did, because the menu here is absolutely delightful. This is the Pasta La Conner, which features Bay shrimp, Dungeness Crab, spinach, and garlic cream over fettuccine.

And if neither seafood nor prime rib sounds appealing, try some chicken marsala or a tasty burger or sandwich. Everything is made from scratch, and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

They're open Friday - Tuesday from 1 - 7 p.m., and reservations are recommended.
Have you dined at this timeless gem? The next time you’re in La Conner, show them some love.
