Dine In An Igloo On A Rooftop At Maximilien Restaurant In Washington
Washington is no stranger to unique dining experiences, including a restaurant you can only reach by gondola. But Seattle’s Maximillien takes fine dining and one-of-a-kind experiences to a whole new level. Meet the fancy French bistro where you can dine on a rooftop… inside an igloo.

If you've been to Pike Place Market, you've probably seen this iconic sign.

And thanks to its location, the food is as fresh as it gets.

Try the classics like escargot and foie gras, or sink you teeth into some salmon or lamb.

"Les igloos" are new for 2019 and beyond, and needless to say, they're a big hit.

Take in the panoramic views of the Puget Sound, Elliott Bay, West Seattle, and the Olympic Mountains.

If you want to reserve one -- which you'll almost always have to do -- you must do so online, and there is a 90 minute time limit and a $150 food and beverage minimum. The igloos can hold up to eight guests, but everyone has to be over 21.

The fact that the food is phenomenal is just a bonus.
The igloos at Maximilien are incredibly popular, and we’re hoping other area restaurants take note. In the meantime, you can try to reserve one here.
