The countdown to Christmas is officially on. It’s laid back, beautiful, and surprisingly relaxing.

The Meeker Mansion dates all the way back to 1886, when it was constructed for Ezra and Eliza Meeker.

The Meekers traveled over the Oregon Trail to make a home here. They raised their six children here, and their daughter, Olive, got married at the mansion. Eliza was an instigator of the first Puyallup library, and Ezra was a prominent figure in the hop market, a merchant, a bank president, and a big promoter of the Northwest.
Today, the Meeker Mansion is a designated historic site run by a board of dedicated locals.

And during the holiday season, it's all decked out in holiday cheer.
Christmas at the Mansion kicks off on November 29, and you'll have until December 22 to enjoy it.
