This Hidden Oasis In Washington Is A Little Piece Of Paradise
When you think of Washington wine country, Walla Walla or the Yakima Valley may be what comes to mind. But we also have a few “hidden gem” wineries scattered throughout the state, including one in a rather unlikely spot. But China Bend Winery is always worth a visit… and you can even spend the night.

Kettle Falls is located in Stevens County, about 80 miles northwest of Spokane, on the banks of the Columbia River.

You can even boat in. If you're boating on Lake Roosevelt, you may notice a WINERY sign at the cove of Rattlesnake Creek, just below the Little Dalles. Anchor your boat there and follow the trail to the wine.

China Bend wine is organic, free of sulfites, GNO free, naturally aged, and loaded with antioxidants.

But if you want to try any white wine or rose, you'll have to come to the winery itself.

The owners host live musical performances, parties, and other community events that support local artists and businesses.

This year's Salsa Fiesta had plenty of good eats, including a salsa tasting bar.

The B&B has two rooms available, which can be combined into a large suite. A private wine tasting and a fresh organic breakfast are included in your stay.

You're welcome to stay at the B&B anytime, but the gift shop and tasting room is open Monday-Saturday from until 5 p.m., April 1- October 31.

You'll see why the locals are so in love with it.
China Bend Winery is amazing. And that’s saying a lot, because we happen to be spoiled by picture-perfect wineries here in Washington.
