Escape To Cap Sante Park For A Beautiful Washington Nature Scene
Did you know Washington is home to 100 state parks as well as an abundance of small local parks? Considering we have some incredibly diverse landscapes, it’s safe to say there’s a perfect park for every Washingtonian. Today we want to give a shout-out to an underrated scenic area you may have passed by without even knowing. Cap Sante Park is a true treasure.

Needless to say, the views from this area will blow your mind.

To reach the park from I-5, take Exit 230 and head west on Highway 20 toward Anacortes. come to a roundabout and junction with Highway 20 Spur, keep right and follow the Spur to Anacortes. The park is on the south end of town, and you can find parking along 4th Street near T Avenue.

It's an easy drive to the viewpoint, but there are a number of short hiking trails in the area that are also easily accessible.

In addition to sweeping views of the local marina, you'll see Fidalgo Bay, the Cascade Mountains, and the city of Anacortes. Mount Baker may also be visible on a clear day.

It has a few benches and stunning views to the east. Just make sure to stay on public property -- there are a lot of homes in this area, and it's important to be respectful.

And as you can imagine, the sunset views are stunning.
