The small building is easy to spot from the street.
It all started when Bonnie Brasure (otherwise known as the Pastry Princess) was a little girl who loved to bake cakes.

Her mother, Sally, encouraged her, and young Bonnie loved experimenting by adding things to the cake mix. Bonnie went on to attend the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont and got her start as a chef on private yachts.
These days, Bonnie loves to bake as much as ever, and she has won numerous local awards by doing so.

Bonnie's sourdough starter is named Mustang Sally in honor of her mother, who still loves to come to visit.
