Skipping breakfast is never a good idea, and if you’re a Washingtonian, it should be downright criminal. We’ve got some of the best breakfast and brunch spots on Earth, and some of them can be found in our smaller cities and towns, meaning you don’t have to battle endless crowds (usually) or struggle to find parking to enjoy them. If you find yourself near any of the breakfast restaurants, do yourself the favor of stopping in.
At the Oak Table, you'll get sweet and savory breakfasts made from scratch, served with a smile -- and they're scrumptious. No wonder this is one of the most beloved spots in Sequim (and Silverdale, where they now have a location).
Ellensburg's Early Bird is absolutely delightful, and so are their breakfasts, which consist mainly of specialty waffles and scrambles. They also have beautiful outdoor seating when the weather permits.
Known for its enormous portions and addictive muffins, The Kettle is an iconic eatery in Enumclaw you have you experience for yourself to truly appreciate.
From the breakfast sandwiches to the latte art, it's no wonder The Mason Jar has been stealing hearts in Eastern Washington for years. This family-run business serves breakfast and lunch daily, and it's all delicious.

5. Old Mill Cafe, 18640 Beaver Valley Road, Leavenworth
Located just outside the Bavarian village of Leavenworth, this diner is a sure bet for a satisfying breakfast. It's owned by a couple from Texas with extensive restaurant experience (in and out of the kitchen), and it shows.
The Roza Grill is a little oasis in Prosser where the coffee is strong, the service is friendly, and the food is perfectly satisfying -- especially on the morning after a long day of wine tasting.
7. Blue Moose Cafe, 311B Haines Pl., Port Townsend
No trip to Port Townsend is complete without a breakfast from Blue Moose. This little city is full of delicious food, but no other eatery can quite top this one for a morning meal.
8. B3 Breakfast & Burger Bar, 4027 196th St. SW, Lynnwood
With a population of around 38,000, Lynnwood might not qualify as a small town -- but this spot is way too tasty to leave off this list. With an extensive menu of breakfast favorites AND an outstanding burger lineup, you can't go wrong here.
You can get breakfast all day at the Maltby Cafe, so feel free to sleep in before you head in. Order one of their famous massive cinnamon rolls for your table to share, then choose from their menu of morning classics -- they're all fantastic.
This cafe is located in an old purple church, and the food will remind you of meals made at home, but better (no offense, Grandma). The comfort food is made from scratch, and they've always got a great selection of breakfast favorites.
This is a small but delectable sample of the small-town eateries you’ll find scattered throughout our beautiful state. And if it’s an epic brunch you’re looking for, here are our suggestions.
