Washington has some of the most magnificent natural scenery. Adventure lovers have abundant opportunities to get out and explore the scenic trails and coastal beaches that make up the landscape of the Evergreen State. That said, we’ve found a state park in Washington that offers the best of both worlds. Blake Island Marine State Park is a beautiful departure from the ordinary, with glorious sandy beaches and lush forested trails.
Blake Island State Park is a marine park accessible only by boat.
Although most visitors travel by power boat to Blake Island, kayaking is also a popular mode of transportation. The journey from Alki Beach is about five miles and there is no beating the feeling of gliding over tranquil waters amid the breathtaking views surrounding you.
