Washington's Top Farm Brewery Is Unexpectedly Awesome
Since the Yakima Valley grows about 75% of the nation’s hops, it’s safe to say that Washington holds the title of the Hops Capital of America. And there just happens to be a farm brewery in Yakima where you can enjoy the rural beauty while sipping on a nice, cold beer. If you’re a beer drinker and you’ve never been to the Bale Breaker Brewing Company, you’re missing out.

The family-owned brewery has grown to become the fifth largest independent craft brewery in Washington.

They represent the fourth generation of B.T. Loftus Ranches, the family hop farm where the brewery is located.

With a 30-barrel brewhouse at their 27,000 square foot facility, Bale Breaker crafts four year-round beers as well as a few seasonal specials.

They also host year-round events, from live music to football viewing parties.

Even if you don't normally like beer, you'll probably find something to enjoy here.

Hours vary from 3-9 (Monday-Thursday) to 12-9 (Friday and Saturdays). On Sundays, they close at 6 p.m.
This charming farm brewery is a fun stop for the whole family (kids and dogs are welcome). And if you’re more of a wine drinker, this list of beautiful Washington wineries is for you.
