The Bainbridge Gardens Pumpkin Walk In Washington Is A Classic Fall Tradition
There’s nothing like a beautiful, crisp, Pacific Northwest autumn. And if you have little ones in your life, we’ve found the perfect fall tradition. The annual Bainbridge Gardens Pumpkin Walk is upon us, and it’s a great excuse to visit Bainbridge Island… and walk through a glowing display of hundreds of pumpkins while you’re at it.

The 6-acre property stays busy all year. Featuring plenty of large trees, plants, an onsite cafe, and even a children's play area, it's a fun place to check out in any season. But in October, it's exceptional.

This year's dates are Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Aside from the Pumpkin Walk itself, young guests can enjoy a Harvest Hay Maze, a bounce house, carnival games, and live music.

You'll stroll through Bainbridge Gardens’ historic Nature Trail, which is illuminated by nearly 300 lighted, carved pumpkins.

This year's Pumpkin Walk will be its 26th, so it's safe to say this is a beloved local tradition.

You'll find pumpkins and carving kits available for purchase onsite in case inspiration strikes. When you bring in your finished creation, you'll receive a small prize for participating. But if you want your creation to be part of the pumpkin walk, you;ll want to take it to the gardens by October 11.

While costumes are optional, dressing for the weather isn't. Remember, you'll be outdoors, and the island can get cold in the evenings.
Have you ever been to Bainbridge Gardens? While you’re on the island, spend some time at the beautiful Bloedel Reserve as well.
