Feast On Authentic Georgian Cuisine At Dediko In Washington
It’s not every day you’ll find authentic Georgian food here in Washington (and for the record, we mean the cuisine of the country at the intersection of Europe and Asia). But in 2019, Dediko opened in Vancouver, bringing the delicious dishes of George right here to the Evergreen State. And while most Washingtonians are unfamiliar with a Georgian menu, most also find they absolutely love what’s being served here.

They also make the country's signature stuffed breads, known as khachapuri, which are downright addictive.

If you're a fan of stew, try the lobio, a bean stew served in an imported Georgian pot, complete with a side of fermented vegetables and a Georgian cornbread called mchadi.

She completed courses at the Northwest Culinary Institute in Vancouver, which included an internship in Tbilisi. Tbilisi. is Georgia's capital city and Bakh's hometown.
