This Tiny Truck In Washington Has Single-Handedly Changed The Local Food Scene
A few years ago, a little food truck opened in Olympia at the corner of 4th and Plum Street. But instead of serving tacos or other common food truck fare, the focus was on the little-known Arepa. These days, Arepa Latin Street Food is more popular than ever, and the term is common knowledge in Western Washington.

They can be can be grilled, baked, boiled, or fried, and they're often stuffed with meat and veggies. The cuisine is extremely popular in Venezuela.

Both of them are from Venezuela, moving to the United States as young adults. First they fell in love with each other (in Orlando), then they fell in love with Washington. Eventually, their food truck was born.

If you're especially hungry, you can get a side salad, some fries, or even some sweet plantains to go along with it.

The Vegetariana comes with black beans, caramelized onions, sweet plantain, and avocado.

This is Ropa Vieja, shredded beef, black beans, white rice and sweet plantains. You can also opt for steak with chimichurri sauce or Cachapas, corn flour pancakes.

They're open Monday - Saturday from 11 .a.m - 7 p.m.
