This dam is Washington’s largest electric power-producing facility, and it’s an important part of our state history. President Franklin D. Roosevelt visited in 1934, and its power fueled the state during World War II. You can camp nearby, or rest for the night in the Grand Coulee Center Lodge or another hotel.
