The Brick Saloon in Roslyn was established as a tavern in 1889 and rebuilt in 1898 using 45,000 bricks, thus taking on the name that stands to this day. This historic watering hole boasts a 100-year-old back bar and a running water spittoon, still in operation and used for the Brick's annual spittoon boat races. Jail cells are housed in the saloon's basement, rumored to have been used as the city's drunk tank.
