The Virginia Beach Boardwalk is one of the most iconic in the U.S. Spanning three miles, this beautiful route is one of the very best ways to appreciate the vibrancy of the city and the natural beauty of the ocean. It accommodates bicycles and pedestrians without the worry of car traffic. Lined with restaurants and fun-filled attractions, the famed Virginia Beach Boardwalk has a little something for everyone to appreciate.
Measuring three miles long and 28 feet wide, and stretching from 2nd to 40th Street, the Virginia Beach Boardwalk is nothing short of a treasure.
As you're meandering along the boardwalk, you'll likely be tempted to stop in one of the many oceanfront shops and attractions. However, it's the unobstructed views of the coastline that really make this pathway so special.
