Impressive dining options are all around us here in Virginia. Whether you’re looking for authentic fried chicken or international cuisine, you won’t have to travel far for a bounty of options. One such example is Three Blacksmiths. Tucked away in the charming town of Sperryville, Virginia, this beloved local restaurant has gained recognition for its world-class quality, attention to detail, and a mouthwatering menu. If you consider yourself a foodie of any kind, you’ll want to plan a visit to this local gem.
Established in 2018, Three Blacksmiths is a relatively new addition to Virginia's impressive culinary scene. Yet this local business has made quite a splash among locals and visitors alike.
The interior of the restaurant is warm, inviting, and with only 20 seats, cozy. The restaurant is only open Wednesday through Saturday, so it's best to plan ahead if you're interested in visiting.
Even more impressive than the artful presentation is the process by which it's planned. Starting on Sunday, local farmers in the area will alert the restaurant what produce and food will be available. From that selection, the kitchen assembles an entire menu of fresh, vibrant, and delicious plates.

In this way, no two visits to Three Blacksmiths are exactly alike. However, there are some popular dishes that frequent the menu. Photographed below, the head chef is preparing croquembouche — a French dessert consisting of pastry puffs and caramel.
What are your thoughts on this impressive farm-to-table restaurant? Have you visited before? If so, we’d love to hear all about your experience there! You can find out more by visiting the official website.
And if you’re looking for a cozy place to stay while you’re visiting Sperryville, be sure to check out these authentic timber-frame cabins just outside of Shenandoah National Park.
