Nothing pairs together quite like authentic barbecue and good beer. While these things are easy to find here in Virginia, we always love a good excuse to enjoy them together. A trip to the small town reveals a hidden gem known as Beale’s. This brewery also acts as a barbecue joint and it’s truly the best of both worlds. Take a look at what this fantastic local business has to offer:
Tucked away in southwestern Virginia, the quiet town of Bedford is beloved for its scenic downtown and beautiful surroundings. Yet most people don't realize there's a fantastic local BBQ and brew spot that could impress just about anyone.
Inside the taproom, which is located on Grove Street, visitors can enjoy the lively, comfortable atmosphere of the brewery while learning about the beer making process.
Perhaps the best attraction of all is the barbecue menu. If you've got a big appetite for pulled pork, brisket, or burgers, this place has you covered.
You'll find that the beer at Beale's pairs perfectly with what's cooking in the kitchen. Photographed below is a flight of beer served with a gourmet pretzel and a specialty entree known as Stecklerfish.
When the weather's nice, visitors can enjoy sitting out on the patio for hours listening to live music and enjoying all that this local brewery has to offer.
