12 Struggles Everyone In Virginia Can Relate To
There are many, many things to be grateful for if you live in Virginia. But, as only Virginians know, there are also a few things that we are not so enthusiastic about. These are the 12 struggles that you’ve probably dealt with if you’ve lived here long enough. See how many of these you can identify with.

Geographically, it very well could be part of Virginia. And we're proud that it's so near and dear to our state...but Virginia and D.C. are two separate entities. (Plus we don't want any of that traffic!)

We are fond of our neighbors to the west, but unless the year is 1862 there should be no excuse for mistaking these two states.

Let's just say the deer in Virginia have a certain confidence when it comes to crossing the road. Virginians have developed eyes that can quickly scan the road for these guys.

That level of acting can truly be exhausting. Deep down, most of us are just fine with an extra few days of taking it easy.

"What's so great about Virginia's history?" an out-of-stater may ask. The trick here is taking deep breaths.

On the bright side, it's a good indicator of who the out-of-towners are.

We value our countryside and definitely our farmers, but Virginians are certainly not hillbillies. This might be another instance of confusing us for West Virginia (we only kid!).

Virginia has a fair share of toll booths. You can just feel the anxiety begin to creep in if you don't have exact change...Ugh.

Whew! The only way to describe the air during these months is sticky.

No matter how long you've been here, Virginia's beauty never gets old.
