Now that spring is here, we’re ready to get outside. And what could be better than a unique outdoor adventure that makes its way towards a local winery? That’s the exact set-up with Southeast Expeditions, a paddle adventure that leads to Chatham Vineyards. Here’s more on this one-of-a-kind outing in Virginia that pairs the best of both worlds:
Southeast Expeditions is a guided tour company in Cape Charles that offers all sorts of unique excursions in Northampton County.
One such adventure, known as "Paddle Your Glass Off," begins on the banks of the scenic Nassawadox Creek and makes its way to the lovely Chatham Vineyards.
The starting location is so remote that it doesn't register on many GPS devices. But don't worry...those that sign up will receive clear directions to the fisherman's wharf.
Once the tour has finished, there will be some extra time to enjoy the beautiful property and maybe even snack on some local cheeses and oysters before gearing up for the return paddle.
Each outing is $89 per person, which includes all gear, the winery tour, and a bottle of wine between two paddlers. To learn more about how to “Paddle Your Glass Off,” you can visit the official website here.
