Approaching the fire tower, you'll begin to appreciate just how tall it is: 90 feet to be exact!

The fire tower was originally built in 1934 as part of the Civilian Conservation Corps under Franklin Roosevelt. When in use, the fire tower was located approximately four miles from its present location.
Those brave enough to check out the view from the top will climb no less than 111 stairs.
