You certainly have plenty of dining options in Virginia, but how often do you get to dine with a 360-degree view? Here’s a restaurant that actually rotates while you dine, providing you with a stunning view of Washington D.C..
Editor’s Note: Since the time of publication, Skydome has permanently closed.
The Skydome Restaurant sits atop the Doubletree Crystal City Hotel, overlooking Washington D.C.. When you arrive, park in the hotel's garage - they'll validate your parking for up to two hours. The address of the hotel is 300 Army Navy Dr., Arlington, Virginia, 22202.
Located on the 15th floor, this restaurant slowly rotates while you dine, providing you with incredible views of Washington D.C. and the surrounding area.
While daytime views are beautiful, the nighttime views are absolutely stunning. See the city glittering with lights below you while you enjoy a delicious, gourmet meal.
You'll spot some of our country's most famous landmarks on the skyline, including the National Cathedral, Jefferson Memorial, the Monument, and the U.S. Capitol.
Start your meal with one of the craft cocktails on the menu, or enjoy a beer or glass of wine. This will be a meal to slowly savor so that you can soak in the views.
You'll find an array of tempting appetizers here. From the Blue Crab Croquettes to the Cauliflower Tacos, you'll find something to tempt your taste buds.
The menu is simple, but includes classic favorites like Crispy Skin Chicken served with fingerling potatoes and green beans, and grilled salmon with wild mushrooms.
