If I were to ask you, “how far are you willing to travel to get to the most remote state park in Virginia?” Of course, your response is relative to where you’re coming from. For most of us, myself included, getting to Kiptopeke State Park in Cape Charles, VA requires quite a journey – not to mention a drive along the famous and iconic Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Rest assured, though, it’s worth the effort. In addition to being completely remote, this park is gorgeous, and it’s the perfect place to escape.
