Known as Virginia's only resort island, Chincoteague makes for an excellent destination in any season. The seaside village is tucked away between Wallops Island and Assateague Island, offering an abundance of water views for as far as the eye can see.
The first thing you'll notice upon your arrival is that the pace of life is more akin to island time around here, and that's part of the appeal! Taking a stroll downtown, you'll quickly fall in love with the local shops, cafes, and restaurants.
